The Strat talk led to a review of Scott Rolen, as he is on Riz's Cardinals team, and his Hall of Fame credentials were scrutinized. That led to talk of Nolan Arenado, and how alike he is to Rolen (and David Wright, as Dawg could never resist talking about his Captain). The guys also covered the retirements of Dustin Predoia and the less-heralded Daniel Murphy, Chipper Jones joining the Braves as a coaching consultant, and Fernando Tatis Jr. grabbing the cover of MLB The Show '21. Diehard Dads was a huge segment, as Riz & Dawg lamented about clearing the two feet of snow, while Riz added a classic story of how snow shoveling and a conversation with his father ended up in a broken phone. Dawg presented Veteran of the Day. With a nod to Black History Month, it was Al Bumbry. Bumbry, an outfielder for the Orioles and Padres from 1972-85 and the '73 Rookie of the Year, served as a platoon leader in the US Army from July 1969-July 1971, earning a Bronze Star for heroism for his service in Vietnam.
