On this episode of Neon Galactic, Professor Diana Pasulka from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington joins us to talk about her new book, “Encounters: Experiences with Non-Human Intelligences.” We talk about the nature of reality, the evolution of humanity, the advent of technology, and how all these things impact on the experience of being human. Her study reveals that the experience of UFOs, and the resulting mystery, has had a transformative impact on both individuals and broader society. With her usual humor and modesty, Pasulka describes how her academic journey led her to amend some of her own beliefs. We review the cast of characters featured in her books, a group on the absolute edge of intellectual achievement who all credit at least some of their brilliance to contact with a non-human intelligence.
