Dianne Barndt of Victory Center spoke with Fred about fundraising
from Fred LeFebvre and the Morning News
After two long months of not being able to open our doors to cancer patients and survivors--The Victory Center has re-opened (at least partially). Yesterday, we were able to welcome back a few participants at a time to get fitted for a wig, have a welcome interview and take part in a small art therapy class! Boy, did we miss everyone! As you would expect, the COVID-19 pandemic is having a serious impact on The Victory Center's fundraising, however. It is difficult to ask, but these are difficult times.I am reaching out today to ask if you would consider making a gift to our Annual Campaign. A contribution now will ensure we meet our basic needs, so we can continue to provide support to cancer patients, survivors, and those closest to them. I want to help a cancer patient! Your gift will help us continue to safely provide services and programs in person, as well as virtually for as long as we need to. Since The Victory Center is a small, grassroots organization where every donation stays local, we lack the resources of bigger organizations to keep going in spite of a pandemic or other natural disasters.
