For those of you missing the far-reaching horizon, step into my office :. Recorded live* on the 98th Friday of the pandemic, this set is the first in my new series, Diasporadic Dance. The name is the vibe - we ecstaticly and emphatically celebrate, elevate and appreciate house & house-adjacent music from across the African Diaspora. Episode 01 is a mix of some of my favorite songs from the past six months - afrobeats, afrohouse and latin club music, with a sprinkling of R&B and soul, from Brazil to Brooklyn, Mexico to Morocco, Havana to Lagos and more.
