In this third installment of Dickerson's Womenars series, join Dickerson and Alyson Stone, Regional VP II, Small Group Sales and Account Management at Anthem, Inc. as she shares her thoughts on women in the industry and more An experienced sales leader, Alyson has built and lead teams across multiple managed health care carriers in the CA Small Group market over the last 16 years. Her enthusiastic, results-driven approach and ability to adapt and innovate have enabled her to successfully lead even through consistent and significant industry change. After graduating from Arizona State University, Alyson enjoyed several years in the entertainment industry, working in both television production and record label production management before finding her place in the healthcare industry, 20 years ago, in 2001. Alyson spent 10 years at Health Net leading various account management teams and then moved to Anthem Blue Cross as a Director of Account Management in 2015. In 2020, Alyson was named Regional Vice President, Small Group Sales and Account Management at Anthem Blue Cross. She now has responsibility for statewide sales, retention, distribution, as well as influencing all aspects of the CA Small Group organization, including strategic oversight of pricing, product, network and marketing.
