Pastors and teachers are called to equip the saints for the work of ministry. The biblical picture is not a pastor doing all the ministry while everyone else watches. It is a pastor helping equip a congregation that goes out and does ministry.Every believer has a responsibility to serve. That service may happen through teaching or an organized ministry, but it may also look like preparing a meal, encouraging someone who is hurting, welcoming a visitor, helping an older member, or giving someone a ride.You do not have to do everything.
