In this podcast Robin DeWan talks about his journey with didgeridoo. He talks about how he has found it and how it can help in healing processes. Robin has been playing didgeridoo for over 25 years. A native of Colorado, USA, he has appeared at numerous events both in ensembles and as a solo artist. Finnish artists he has recorded with include Aikakone, Ylva, and Nebula Meltdown. He has appeared onstage with acts as diverse as 22-Pistepirkko, Angelit, and Paleface to name but a few. In 2009 Robin released a solo record entitled Groundswell. Currently he is working on a multi-media, multi-music genre project entitled The Journey. Robin has also been studying and practicing sound resonance therapy using the didgeridoo for quite some time. He has given presentations and demonstrations of this work at various consciousness events including the Minä Olen festival in Helsinki and the Peace in Mind festival in Stockholm. His primary focus recently has been in sound therapy, having given presentations and individual therapy sessions in southern Arizona earlier this year. In addition, he is a spoken word artist and storyteller.
