Didiza lifts a national ban on livestock auctions in SA due outbreak of Foot-and-Mouth Disease

SAfm — The Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform, and Rural Development Thoko Didiza has lifted a national ban on livestock auctions in South Africa since the outbreak of Foot-and-Mouth three months ago in the Molemole District in Limpopo. However there are preconditions for the resumption of auctions. Didiza made the announcement at a media briefing in Cape Town today.
