Cati was born and bred in Rotorua with a strong grounding in both recreational and competitive sport. She has previously represented New Zealand in the Enduro World Series. Now she rides bikes locally after setting up a women’s ride charity The Mud Maidens. She's a longstanding member of the Rotorua Association of Triathletes & Multisporters and Lake City Athletic Club.
