Her team conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to understand how axial spondyloarthritis (AxSpa) affects men and women differently in terms of how common it is and what symptoms they experience as well as how men and women with AxSpa respond differently to biologic treatments. Dr. Eder shares how the findings from the review can be used to inform clinical practice and follow up care, particularly for female patients, to support health outcomes.
