Different Kingdoms - Daniel 2
from Chris Stuart - Tyndale’s Plowboy Hosted by cstpb
The central message of this sermon is that Christians should focus on their individual roles in God's program, rather than trying to bring about national revival or transform society through external means. The teacher argues that when we prioritize national revival as our goal, we risk getting distracted from our true purpose and creating a false measure of success or failure. This can lead to compromise and a tendency to justify sinful actions as long as they achieve the desired outcome. In contrast, understanding God's program for the world - which is that evil will grow and come to fruition before being finally judged by Jesus Christ - helps us stay focused on our individual roles in standing against the world system and bringing glory to God, even if it means being persecuted or marginalized.
