John fasted, Jesus feasted, but wisdom is proved by the results.Similarly, the Shunammite woman declined royal favor and trusted God within her family, while Joseph accepted favor from Pharaoh and ruled Egypt. Different paths, but both trusted the same God.The warning comes from Gehazi, who chased a favor without discernment and lost God’s blessing.The lesson: In God’s kingdom there may be different callings and processes, but the focus must always remain the same—not the provision, but the Provider.
