Digging Ditches at LEAD '26

Episode Title: Dig the Ditches — Preparing for the Miracle In this session from Pastor CT Townsend, we dive into a timeless leadership principle drawn from 2 Kings 3:16–17: God sends the miracle, but we prepare the capacity to hold it. In this episode, Pastor CT unpacks why every church already has systems—whether they were intentionally designed or accidentally inherited. From assimilation to discipleship, from volunteer culture to pastoral health, Pastor CT challenges leaders to stop waiting for signs and start digging the “ditches” that make room for supernatural movement. You’ll learn: Why obedience and preparation always precede provision How systems don’t create revival but they sustain it The difference between moments that excite people and movement that develops people The five essential “ditches” every church must build to see long-term growth How Victory Baptist Church structures ministry to help people know God, discover purpose, and live the life of victory This is a call to action for every pastor, leader, and church builder: Dig your ditches. Create capacity. Prepare for God to move. Because when the water comes…will your church be ready to hold it?
