All my colony increases are as a result of splits and supported by frames of capped brood from taken swarms. The nucs are not a jigsaw of frames from different colonies and they must have at least 3 weeks of new capped brood so we know the queen is in great shape. And finally we work with companies that feel it good to have bees on their properties, from providing the colonies, specifying the hive hardware , regular weekly visits and shorts videos.
