Find out more on our website: https://bit.ly/3P1J60o OneBanks is pioneering a new concept in high street banking: leveraging open banking to enable customers of all banks to do their everyday banking transactions in a single location. Resulting from a backdrop of bank branch closures over the past decade, many communities have lost their access to convenient banking services with people at risk of being left behind. OneBanks mission is to create a sense of community by having opportunities for everyday human interaction. While digital and analogue are somewhat paradoxical, it is essential that solutions cater for both to help drive both access to cash and also look to reduce the digital divide. Duncan will explore the issue of reducing branches in the UK and outline the OneBanks innovation and solution which is set to become the new face of banking on the high street. Speaker: OneBanks came from Duncan Cockburn's vision to develop an agnostic bank platform to facilitate everyday banking services and preserve human interaction. Duncan has developed the overarching strategy, as well as defining and maintaining the company mission and vision. Duncan has also played a pivotal role in leading the OneBanks team to date. Duncan has a degree from the University of Exeter and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. He spent time in California learning about coding and whilst there became excited about the potential offered by Open Banking. He left KPMG to set up OneBanks in 2019.
