Digital painter Eduardo Tavares talks about his process of creating fine art inspired by places, people, and music.

I have been creating expressionist paintings and fine art images for over 20 years, in Portugal, Canada and now in the USA. Every time I create an image, I ask myself; what feeling do I want this piece to evoke on the viewer? - The goal is to keep pushing myself by creating unique art and exploring the possibilities of mixing digital and traditional media to turn what I create into something you will want to hang on your wall for a long time. Living in different countries and traveling extensively, has allowed me to draw inspiration and learn from the plethora of different cultures and beautiful places throughout this beautiful continent that is, North America. A select number of my paintings are printed on museum quality paper and adhered to canvas, others are printed directly on canvas. They are then hand-embellished with acrylic paints and gels to create texture, resulting in a unique final product. I call these my “Limited Edition” paintings. Each painting is produced on demand and comes signed. Many of my artworks hang in private collections in north America and were exhibited several times in Canada and the USA.
