Digital Scouting, Out Of State Hunts, & Hunter Profile

On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, Dan is joined by Shawn Polke to discuss hunting on the east coast, digital scouting, and out of state hunts. Shawn talks about how he grew up in a family full of gun hunters, but as he finished up college and his dad started to expand his hunting footprint, Shawn started his deep dive in to hunting. Halfway through the podcast, Shawn talks about how he decided on an out-of-state hunt to Illinois and how he prepared for the hunt by digital scouting a specific piece of public land. Then, once they got to the public piece, it didn't turn out to be anything good.
