Today’s word is diligent, which means showing steady, earnest, and energetic effort. Diligence involves being persistent and focused in our work and responsibilities. Proverbs 13:4 reminds us that diligence brings fruit: “The soul of the diligent is made fat.” In our faith, diligence looks like consistently pursuing God through prayer, scripture, and service, following Jesus’ example of living with purpose and excellence.
