Dimples Romana on how losing her father made her humble, grateful, and completely trusting of God

from Kapamilya Journeys of Hope

Dimples Romana grew up in a very prayerful family, and was raised by parents who had absolute faith and trust in the Lord. And when her father lost early to aneurysm, just four years after her sister died of leukemia, her eyes were opened even more to the goodness and providence of the Lord.“When Papa passed on, I asked the Lord, ‘Did you not think that I deserve a complete family?’ But then, I would remember my Papa’s words: ‘Be a moth and go towards the light. When it’s so dark, just a little bit of light from the heavens will make all the difference.’” Knowing what it feels like to lose too many too soon, Dimples now takes every blessing with humility and gratitude. She carries her father’s humility and gratefulness in her everyday life and in how she is raising her kids. And when the going gets tough, she knows exactly what to do: pray. “The Lord’s strength is made perfect in our weakness. When I am weakest, that’s when the Father will come running to me and reach for my hand, saying, ‘Anak, ako na ’to.’”#KapamilyaJourneysOfHope#FatherTitoCaluag#DimplesRomana Hosted on Acast.
