Dink Pate Chooses College Over Pro | Big East Basketball News

Dink Pate, a 19-year-old guard with pro offers on the table, is turning heads by heading to Providence for college basketball — not to rest on his laurels, but to prove he’s ready for the NBA. After going undrafted and playing last season with the Westchester Knicks, Pate brings elite athleticism and a pro mindset to the Big East, where he believes the physicality will sharpen his game. His coach even praised his decision, calling it a smart move for development. Pate’s goal? To show doubters he belongs in the league — one gritty college game at a time.
