South African opposition party, the Democratic Alliance says it will call for an inquiry into how Grace Mugabe was able to leave the country when she was clearly an identified suspect in a criminal charge. The party says it specially need clarity on whether she had VIP protection assigned to her and if so, whether the SAPS therefore took her to her plane. Zimbabwe's first lady flew home from South Africa yesterday ending a week of confusion over her whereabouts, after she allegedly assaulted a model. The Department of International Relations at the weekend issued a statement confirming that Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane had indeed given Mugabe diplomatic immunity.
