DIRECT BLESSING

Mr. Diamond Redd presents “A New Flavor,” featuring Essie Berry — widow of Fred “Rerun” Berry from the 1970s hit sitcom What’s Happening! — bringing a brand-new southern gospel vibe. Focused on the truth of the Almighty and the power of prayer, faith, and understanding, this music is more than just sound; it’s a message, a ministry, and a movement meant to open hearts and minds. Each song takes listeners on a journey through love, heartbreak, gratitude, growth, power, and knowledge, showing how God can turn pain into purpose. This is the shared testimony of Essie Berry and Diamond Redd, two souls refined by fire after ten years of turmoil, mental and emotional abuse, now standing strong as living proof of God’s mercy and grace. Their music is their testimony, their rhythm is their redemption. Diamond Redd invites you to a space where truth meets the beat, and every lyric reflects divine power. With a soulful southern gospel groove, Essie Berry offers a powerful new testimony — a story of truth, healing, and restoration after more than a decade of malicious harassment. Giving all glory to God for lifting her up and restoring her life, this extended production, “Direct Blessings,” inspires listeners to stand strong, stay focused on Him, and trust His timing through any storm. Together, Essie Berry and her dedicated bodyguard, Mr. Diamond Redd, bring a fresh, bold, and inspiring style to the gospel world.
