Dungse-la explains how the direct experience of our world has more to do with penetrating our own assumptions about the world in which we live, teasing apart the influences that cause the world to appear the way it does. He relates this to the more esoteric practices we engage in, where the focus of practice is based on a relationship with the lineage (the "view") as opposed to, for example, the study and practice of Buddhist logics and reasoning.
