Directives from the Guardian
from Scattering Angels Hosted by scatteringangels
Today's passages are from Directives from the Guardian by Shoghi Effendi. I selected a number of short passages from this book on a variety of subjects as follows: Generosity Catastrophe (The Apcalyptic Upheaval) Criticism Heroism is Needed Love (Turn to Baha'i Brothers and Sisters) Love, Custodians of (World Exeedingly Dark) Prejudices (Racial) Teaching (Love for Baha'u'llah) Followed by a passage by Shoghi Effendi that I found on Bahai.Org which did not cite a source but was titled "A Life of Generous Giving." We continued our reading of The Hidden Words of Baha'u'llah with the 33rd and 34th Hidden Word from the Arabic. Today we close with a prayer from Prayers and Meditations by Baha'u'llah on page 13.
