Director of the North Carolina Division of Aging Tammy Koger discusses North Carolina bringing back a free fan program for summer

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is once again offering help to people who may struggle to stay cool during the hottest months of the year. Through Operation Fan Relief, the state's Division of Aging is partnering with area agencies on aging and local service providers to distribute fans to eligible recipients from May 1 through Oct. 31. Tammy Kroger, with the Division of Aging, joined Jeff Hamlin to discuss the program.
