Director Sarah Maslock - Waynesboro Marching Band

Mrs. Sarah Maslock, the WHS Band Director, discusses the importance of music education and the collaboration between different levels of education across Waynesboro Schools. She emphasizes the impact of music on students' lives and the opportunities it provides for personal growth and community involvement. During the conversation we highlight the district and area honor band auditions, where students compete and receive feedback to improve their skills, the collaborative nature of the music program, from middle school to high school, and the importance of mentors and the passion required to excel in music education.
