Dirty Cake Money
from I SHAKE MY HEAD Hosted by Lisa Gibson & Samantha Sperling
Kids birthday parties are super fancy compared to the parties of our youth when we were excited to get money in the birthday cake. Yes, we were overjoyed with the dirty cake money! Think of all the hands that touched those coins before you popped it in your mouth. Ah, good times! When you get older will you need handlers to cater to your every whim? Do you know the rules around offering to get something for someone? Yay or nay to selfies during a concert? Does Lisa deserve empathy for breaking her own weird food rules and what reaction do you have to the commonly used phrase "no offence"? Do you remember being taught how to brush your teeth or clean your body? Did Disney and Tinkerbell make you a lazy reader? Anyone care for a weird game of Happy Hospital? Who wants to watch the train wreck that will be the Golden Bachelor. Will Lisa really go to the Barbie movie and who thinks a winky emoji saves the day? Opinions are plentiful in this episode so check it out, it might just make you shake your head! If you love what you hear you can support the podcast by following the links below!
