Dirty Dancing (1987)
from This Ends at Prom Hosted by Brennan Klein
"I’m scared of everything. I’m scared of what I saw, I’m scared of what I did, of who I am, and most of all I’m scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life the way I feel when I’m with you.” DIRTY DANCING turns 35 this year, so we're having difficult conversations about Johnny Castle and Frances "Baby" Houseman's relationship, dissecting what makes Swayze such a hunky leading man, and praising the groundbreaking abortion subplot that was decades ahead of its time. As an added bonus, Momma Colangelo makes a little cameo appearance! Note from the hosts: We absolutely had a Freudian slip and said "Paxton" when we meant "Pullman" while talking about INDEPENDENCE DAY. We had recorded our WEIRD SCIENCE Patreon episode (in your inbox on Friday!) right before so he was on our mind. SORRY, MR.
