Dirty Laundry

In this message on The Clarion Call, host Nici Mathis turns to Revelation 22:14 and 1 John 2:1–5 to unpack the call to sanctification and obedience in the life of every believer. Revelation reminds us that those who “wash their robes” will have the right to the tree of life, while John points us back to the proof of our love for God—keeping His commandments. Nici challenges listeners to examine their walk, asking whether their lives reflect daily cleansing through repentance, forgiveness, and obedience. She highlights the danger of postponing obedience, sweeping conviction under the rug, or making excuses for sin, and shows how these choices keep us from true fellowship with the Father. Through scripture, reflection, and prayer, this episode presses into the importance of holiness in a culture that normalizes compromise. Washing our robes isn’t optional—it is the preparation for eternal life with Christ. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
