Teal Sherer left a really nice comment on Kim Evey's facebook post of our interview. I didn't know who Teal was, but I like compliments, so I looked at her page. Well, it turns out she's a really talented, funny, and passionate actor. She's a wife and a mom. She's in a wheelchair. I've been wanting to explore the discussion of people with disabilities in the media for a while and here was a woman producing her own show about it called My Gimpy Life! So, we skyped from her home in Nashville to talk about everything from the weird stuff people say to those with disabilities and how breastfeeding classes for expecting moms are kinda b.s.
