Discerning The Spirit of Leviathan

Send us Fan MailIn this powerful episode, Codie dives into the spiritual reality of Leviathan — a twisting, constricting spirit that seeks to suffocate truth, divide relationships, pervert communication, and steal God-given victory from believers. Drawing from Isaiah 27:1, we’re reminded that Leviathan is a serpent only the Lord Himself deals with:“In that day the LORD… will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent… and He will slay the dragon that is in the sea.”This is not a spirit we wrestle in our own strength — it’s a battle the Lord takes personally. We also look at John 10:10, exposing Leviathan within the broader strategy of the enemy — to steal, kill, and destroy through distortion, accusation, and division. But Jesus promises life and victory to those who remain in alignment with Him.Through Psalm 74:14, we see God’s dominion:“You crushed the heads of Leviathan…”showing that this ancient serpent has already been defeated in the realm of God’s authority. Finally, in Job 41, God reveals Leviathan’s nature — untamable, proud, deceptive, and resistant to correction — giving us spiritual language to recognize how this spirit operates in households, ministries, and leaders today. In this episode you will learn:How to discern Leviathan’s patterns (especially in communication and relationships)How to posture yourself so God fights for youHow to guard your God-given victory and inheritanceWhy humility, forgiveness, and clarity are spiritual warfare weaponsHow to avoid partnering with subtle twisting or confusionIf you’ve ever felt like your words were being twisted, relationships attacked, or victory slipping through your fingers, this conversation will bring revelation, strategy, and freedom.______________________________________________GET MY NEW BOOK TODAY | The Healing Journey: Healing the Heart, Restoring the Soul, Renewing the Mind — a powerful inner healing guide designed to help you walk in freedom with Jesus.Get your copy here: https://a.co/d/fzFBYnjHELP SUPPORT OUR MISSION | Uganda March 2026We are currently raising funds for our upcoming mission trip to Uganda, where Global Footprints Ministries will be serving through:• Feeding children and youth• Prison ministry• Women’s and men’s conferences• Leadership trainingGIVE: https://www.globalfootprintsministries.com/giveEvery seed helps us carry the Gospel, healing, and discipleship to the nations.FOLLOW ME ON SOCIAL MEDIAFacebook @codiecobb Instagram & TikTok @codie_cobbYouTube @codiecobbSUBSCRIBE & STAY CONNECTEDNew episodes of THE WARRIOR BUN air every Wednesday morning at 6:00 AM CST
