Teaching from Matthew 28:18–20, Leon reminded us that we are called to be disciples of Jesus, not merely rely on humanism to better ourselves. Discipleship is about embracing what is on the Lord’s heart for us and following His example.From Matthew 16:24–25, we were challenged to look to Christ as the blueprint for discipleship. Just as He laid down His life for us, we too are called to lay down our lives for one another. The goal of discipleship is to become more like Christ.
