Whether that is because of our own assumptions about Jesus, all the different things we have heard about him, or the ways we have simply grown accustomed to Jesus over the years. Jesus can quickly just become a background part of our lives. But the actual Jesus, who rose from the dead and is alive today is anything but tame or domesticated. In Acts 9:1-40, we see several glimpses of who Jesus is and what he does in our lives today. And we find that just as Paul’s life was turned upside down by truly coming to know who Jesus is, so too our lives can be transformed by a true understanding of who Jesus is.
