Discipleship Episode #6

from In the Word with Roy Edwards Hosted by Pastor Roy Edwards

This episode explores what it means to count the cost of following Jesus, drawing on Luke 14 and the example of the rich young ruler. Roy explains that discipleship requires surrendering what competes with Christ—your schedule, money, mouth, purity, and pride, and contrasts cheap grace with costly grace. Practical steps include naming what you cling to, praying a morning surrender, making one costly act of obedience, and finding accountability to grow as a lifelong disciple.
