Discipleship Over Despair

Throughout the corridors of history, we have seen many leaders, charismatic and otherwise, having tremendous influence and impact on the lives of many. None more than our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He has revolutionised and rewritten the very foundation of the tenets of Discipleship; he has mastered the virtuosity of servant leadership, not by doctrine or words of endearment, but by example. This video serves to remind us of our Christian commitment and purpose, that we have a commission and a command to make disciples of men, from every persuasion. The Scriptures invite us to bear much fruit, thereby glorifying the Father through the Son; John 15:8. It also commands us, as Christ did to His disciples, to display love for one another, by which men will know that we are His disciples. John 13:35. There are four basic pillars to Discipleship, they are: Surrender, Sacrifice, Relationship, and Transformation. We are also reminded that it is God who gives the increase and adds souls to His Kingdom, but we can sow the seed, water the seed, and then allow God to save the soul we have won. 01st Corinthians: 3:5-7.
