Discipline: Are You Willing To Pay The Price?! 💪

from The Help Made Millionaire Podcast · host Joel Dunn

Today's conversation between Chad Kneller and Martevious Young and I is in response to the fourth part of an amazing series from Denis Waitley called Winning For Life. This fourth session is about the importance of discipline and how we all have to decide if we are willing to pay the price! Here are some of the high points: "No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on however it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it." Hebrews 12:11 We don't do what we know, we do what we learn... what we consistently are willing to put the reps in to do! If you only take action when you FEEL like it, you will never produce anything of long term value that can sustain. Who is in charge of your software? Who trains the way you think and has influence in what you believe? These questions are more important than we could possibly realize. Habits are submarines - they run silently in our lives DEEP below the surface of who we are! T he cornerstones of healthy habits: - A daily dynamic routine over a long period of time. - Take ownership of healthy and unhealthy habits. - You have to create the right environments. VISUALIZATION -- the imagined self. Where do you SEE yourself arriving in the future? There couldn't be a more important question and exercise!
