Discipline or Restoration?

What Do You Do With A Sinning Saint? Which will it be – divine discipline or real restoration? What do we do when a Christian sins and that sin affects other people in significant, deep ways? Should the person who has sinned undergo “church discipline” or be forgiven and restored? What are the circumstances that Christians, church leaders and churches must consider? And, what about you? What if you (or someone you know) has sinned in a deep, permeating way? How do you respond so that God can forgive, heal and restore? Every Christian – and every church – will eventually be faced with the important choice of what to do with a sinning saint. In such instances, it’s all too easy to exalt the sin and Satan rather than the Savior. This message will help you look at what God says on the matter, so that the choice you make follows His heart and wisdom – and always exalts the Savior. When this happens, the floodgates of forgiveness, healing and restoration open wide.
