Disciplining Kids

Send us Fan MailI suppose I could have published this in oh lets say 2050 when I am sure that I wont be around to hear it. You know the backlash from telling other people how to raise their kids. But no I want you to know what everyone is thinking when you allow your wild child to rule over your life and be an absolute disruption to whatever is happening around them. You should know we had it right when Teachers could assist with that correction. Listen you want to improve your chances that you will raise a future inmate? Then avoid following the Bible and what it says you should do to keep them Out "O" Trouble. Yes, you know better than God the unruliness that resides in human beings starting as kidlings that He does? Your child's behavior will prove it once they hit about 6 or 7 years of age. Listen there is a correct way to discipline without going overboard and crossing the line. I would come home to an incident where my wife had the boys in their rooms waiting for me. I would ask what happened, explain why it cannot continue to happen, tell them that there would be a spanking coming, I would then leave the room and pray that I would spank in love and not out of anger. Then i would return and spank and leave the room. I would return later to encourage them and to know that I love them but that we cannot behave that way.
