I tried to imagine how I'd program two hours of dance music on two belt-driven turntables and (hopefully) a reel to reel tape deck for quickie edits after the horrible, and with the benefit of hindsight, pretty racist, 'Disco Sucks' riot during the summer of 1979. Disco may not be all the rage by that point with new wave and house music just around the corner but for now, it's that in-between zone, and dancers wanna dance...
