Disconnected That number is not in service, hands sweating, feeling nervous Too many days without a sound, sundial keeps spinning round Dropped signal, head pound, so lost babe I need to be found Got my senses disconnected, too many cracks became infected How long can you keep on trying when your call’s rejected Username and password do not match, is it just me or am I always in a rough patch Online issues mess with my brain, figuring everything out drives me insane Hit that it’ll ease your pain, but tomorrow that shit will be back again Got my senses disconnected, one too many time being auto corrected It’s a wonder I’m still kickin’ after all that I’ve been subjected To put it plainly it’s time to go, we’ve got to get together and start the show Print the posters, spread the word, given our state that seems absurd Time is coming today friends rest assured, baby to come home friends have you heard Got our senses reconnected, every obstacle has been deflected The near empty feel-good meter is about to get re-injected From feeling disconnected, to marveling at what we’ve erected We’ve years to explore life and then share with you all we’ve collected Stay tuned Tim Windisch 10/07/2023
