On March 8th 2011, Quebec's provincial government announced a 75% tuition hike for Quebec students. The move triggered a massive 8 month long general strike. It broke records becoming the largest student strike in Quebec's history and the longest student strike in Canada.This episode tells that story.Discordia is presented by CJLO 1690AM, made with the help of volunteers at the station, and funded by the Community Radio Fund of Canada.
