I explain how nearly 90% of startups fail because founders lack a clear purpose. Without a strong mission, it’s easy to get distracted, quit when things get hard, and end up living with regret. I share why obsession with your “why” is the real foundation that gives entrepreneurs the strength to push through failure and uncertainty. ✎ I also share one of my favorite historical lessons by comparing Samuel Langley with Wilbur Wright and Orville Wright. Langley had government funding, top scientists, and media attention, but his goal was fame and money. The Wright brothers had no money or backing, but they deeply believed in the mission of flight. In 1903 at Kitty Hawk, the Wright brothers flew the first powered airplane while Langley quit. I explain how studying Bill Gates and learning the power of partnerships led to my first $13,500 deal and changed everything for me.
