Discovering Jesus in Ecclesiastes
from Aliens On Earth Hosted by Nate Gizaw
Send us Fan Mail The episode, "Discovering Jesus in Ecclesiastes," argues that the book's theme of Hevel (meaninglessness/vapor) is a "divine setup."It highlights that everything "under the sun"—wealth, wisdom, pleasure—is vapor and cannot satisfy the "eternity in man's heart." This futility drives the listener to Jesus, the Eternal Word and Solid Rock, who is the only reality that is not Hevel. He fulfilled the Law's impossible demand to "keep his commandments," offering freedom and ultimate meaning. Support the show
