Discovering Postmodernism
from Philosophics — Philosophical and Political Ramblings · host Bry Willis
Join me as I explore the fundamental core of postmodernism or as I prefer to label it, disintegrationism. It is an audio rendering of a blog post I wrote in January 2021. This podcast is an extension of the Philosophics blog at http://philosophicsblog.wordpress.com, where you can find related content. At the start, there was an import process from the original post, which was not written with this conversion in mind. There were placeholders and footnotes that were not intended to be read as the main narrative. I hope someday, there will be a 'don't read me' tag. And there were typographical errors, which have since been fixed on the written page. Unfortunately, the programme does not allow me to re-import the copy, so I manually edited out the offending bits. The provided editing tools is a bit rudimentary, so some of the edits are, let's say, rough. Also, there were some redundant and otherwise unintentional words that may distract the listener. Je m'accuse. As for the text-to-speech, it actually quite remarkable. Please don't fault me for having chosen the male voice over the female voice offered. There are pronunciation and intonation issues. The voice sounds decidedly American, yet professional. Please bear with me through this learning process. On balance, this feels like a decent application. Perhaps more intentional content will follow.
