Summary
Why do we practice in sports? Why do we study for tests? Why do we hit the gym? We do it in preparation for our games and matches. We do it to ace the test. We do it to get stronger and improve our stamina. This is why I choose to intentionally challenge myself every week. I stay ready so I don't have to get ready. I seek out challenges so I'm that much more prepared for when life throws a curveball at me. This is an episode from The Modern Man podcast. I am grateful that they asked me to be a guest panelist. And we discuss my favorite thing in the world... challenges! The benefits of intentionally challenging yourself How to face hardships and evolve our mindset Why life is all about progress and not perfection We discuss our own personal challenges (intentional or unintentional) The many lessons and growth that come from challenges Challenges aren’t that bad once we get the hang of them. And you realize you’re capable of so much more after conquering that said challenge. CHALLENGE: This week's challenge is inspired by YOU, the listener, my fellow growth junkies. I want you to message me with a challenge you would like to see me do this week. Do it ASAP because I want to have enough time to do them all. It could be something silly like wearing something awkward in public. It could also be something meaningful to you. What challenge, experience, or tool has benefitted and shaped you for the better? Let me know. I'll be sharing my experiences as I go. I would LOVE for you to do one of these many challenge ideas with me.
