Discussing increasing trends in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety in Belgium

This study shows increasing incidence and prevalence of physician-registered anxiety. Patients with anxiety had an increasing number of comorbidities over time. Treatment of anxiety in this setting seems very dependent on medication, particularly SSRIs and anxiolytics.
