The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence recently released a controversial report citing findings of torture by the CIA during the detention and interrogation of mostly Muslim terrorist suspects after 9/11. The report also found that some interrogations were much more brutal than the CIA had disclosed and that officials had misled the Bush administration, which authorized the program, as well as members of Congress and the public.
