Disengage Autopilot

The modern church attendee is living on autopilot. The constant busyness, pressure, and demands of everyday life have taught us how to keep moving without always being fully present. And eventually, that autopilot lifestyle finds its way into our relationship with Jesus. We begin to approach casually the things that should never become casual.In Hebrews 5:11, Scripture describes believers as becoming “sluggish”—not physically tired, but spiritually slow to hear and respond to God. We can still attend church, sing the songs, know the language, and believe the right things while our hearts quietly slip into autopilot.Maybe what many people call radical Christianity or revival is simply a Christian who determines to disengage autopilot.
