Coming off of the high of D23’s major park announcements, Disney dropped the bad news - Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America are going away to make room for Cars land in the Magic Kingdom. In our main segment we shed some light on Disney’s Accelerator Program. It’s a little known part of the Disney company that invests in and mentors start up tech companies.  You probably haven’t heard of the program before now, but you’ve most likely heard of some of the previous members - most notably Fortnite creator Epic Games. We give a brief history on the program and discuss what we can learn about the future of Disney be looking at the companies currently enrolled in the program.
