Welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, your place for anything and everything Disney. This week we finish (for now) our series Disney Decade with 2010-2019. But before we get into that, let’s get to the news! Food and Wine starts early this year, going from July all the way to November. The cast for Obi-Wan Kenobi was announced and includes has some awesome names attached to it like Kumail Nanjiani, Sung Kang, and O’Shea Jackson Jr. Also, the new Bamboo Bar and Patio opened at Splitsville in Disney Springs. This decade was definitely one of the most prosperous in Disney’s history. Bob Iger led Disney through some massive acquisitions of Lucasfilm and Fox. Marvel explodes at the box office, which then seems to feed into all Disney properties owning the box office by the end of the decade. Many of the parks also go through massive improvements and new a new park even opens! If this was the 2020s, we could’ve called this the Roaring ‘20s.
